About Us

My husband and I always found a particular allure in making things by hand - whether it was DIY decor or handmade gifts for family. Little did we know, our childhood interest in making crafts would eventually blossom into the custom crafting business it is today.

Since becoming parents in 2020, we shared a burning desire and burden in our hearts to be completely hands on in the education and day to day processes of our children. In 2022, my husband and I decided to obey God's calling on our lives, so we left our jobs as a teacher and a social worker while continuing to dabble in and learn the art of woodworking. Enjoying the time we gained to watch our children grow up firsthand and experience all of life together as a family, we officially began ParentWood Home in 2023.

At ParentWood Home, we believe that wood is a beautiful and versatile material that can be used to create anything from simple decor to intricate pieces of furniture. We love building with wood, but also enjoy working with acrylic, vinyl and other materials. We are passionate about creating custom pieces that reflect our clients' unique style and are committed to providing the best possible experience, from the initial consultation to the final delivery.
